Which kit should I use?
The following are the uses we recommend for each heparin ELISA kit. Please note that LMWH is usually measured in µg per mL while UFH is usually measured in U/mL:
S-1800: Low Molecular Weight Heparin (LMWH) ELISA for Buffer

Lifespan Technologies has engineered a direct heparin binding assay for measurement of low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) in either buffer or urine. This assay directly measures heparin, not heparin's effect on the clotting cascade.

a) this kit is suitable for measuring most low molecular weight heparins (LMWH) in buffer or urine.
b) LMWHs assayed using the S-1800 include enoxaparin, dalteparin, fraxiparin, tinzaparin, parnaparin and ardeparin.
c) these LMWHs can be measured in the 0.003 – 1.0 µg per mL range.
d) S-1800 was developed for sensitive measurement of LMWH but is also our most sensitive kit for measuring unfractionated heparin (UFH).
e) heparin can be measured from 0.001 - 0.3 U/mL using S-1800.
f) the conjugate is now provided as a stable liquid solution for your added convenience.
g) This kit is valuable for measuring leach rates of heparin sepharose or heparin coated devices.
